Heute möchte ich einem guten Bekannten/Freund von mir, die Ehre erweisen und eines seiner Werke, eine Hommage über eine Figur aus dem Comic "Dreamkeepers" von David Lilie, in meinem Blog veröffentlichen.
Ich hoffe, das Werk berührt euch auf die gleiche Weise, wie es mich berührt.

Paige´s Lullaby
In darkest night the orphans lie; Outside the storm is passing by And howling gales like phantoms cry And sing to them their lullaby.
The orphans lie in darkest night, Among them blooms a rose of fright; A girl, a fiend that bleeds her dry And sings to her its lullaby.
Through all the slightest shades it crept, Tracked down the trail of tears she wept, pure crystals, such as orphans cry And wrote with them its lullaby.
The Sandman brought the gift of dreams And wove with them her nightmares´ seams And bedded her, so did she lie And passed into her lullaby.
